The Anatomic Radical Perineal Prostatectomy: An Outcomes-Based Evolution
Volume 52, issue 1, pages 1-306 Objective parameters and physician-reported clinical outcomes were collected prospectively on 704 patients (1993-2006) undergoing radical perineal prostatectomy performed by one surgeon. Complete cancer resection and preserved urinary and sexual function resulted in most men with clinically localized prostate cancer.
