Periurethral Suspension Stitch During Robot-Assisted Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy: Description of the Technique and Continence Outcomes
Volume 56, issue 3, pages 407-582 Early urinary incontinence following radical prostatectomy (RP) is still a major source of morbidity and significant concern for patients with prostate-confined cancer. A variety of surgical techniques have been used in an attempt to improve the early return of continence after RP. The periurethral suspension technique resulted in significantly greater continence rates at 3 mo after robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.
