This accomplishment is definitive proof that the journal has once again confirmed the highest position of recognition among the international urological community and is unanimously recognised as a referral journal for all those working and practising in this field. In addition, this Impact Factor ranks higher than all other journals listed in the field of Surgery according to the ISI Thompson Journal Citation Reports®.

As the issue of self citations also remains a sensitive one, we would like to bring your attention to the fact that the 2011 Impact Factor without self citations would still keep European Urology at the head of its class with an impressive 7.208.

A major part of this accomplishment is due to the dedication and loyalty from our expert reviewers.
